Ruth Anne Thompson, 73, of Mansfield, passed away on May 5, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer. A registered nurse for 45 years at OhioHealth, Ruth dedicated her life to caring for others with grace, humor, and a steady hand.\n\nShe loved her garden, her book club, and her grandchildren above all else. Ruth had a gift for making strangers feel like family and family feel like the most important people on earth.\n\nShe is survived by her husband David, daughters Sarah and Megan, son Andrew, and five grandchildren.
