Dorothy Jean Hill

Dorothy Jean Hill, 96, of Columbus, peacefully went home on May 18, 2026. The matriarch of a family that grew to include 6 children, 19 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren, Dorothy lived a life rich in faith, family, and Sunday dinners that no one ever missed twice.\n\nA seamstress by trade, she made wedding dresses for three generations of women in her community. Her hands were always working — sewing, cooking, holding a baby, or folded in prayer.
